I know. I was only teasing. [ He goes to put the chocolates on the kitchen counter; with the apartment's layout that doesn't take him out of her view, so he continues talking ] Feel perfectly free to step on my foot when I speak too vaguely.
[ The cat has the ability of all cats to sense who is most likely to give them affection, so she's attached herself to Minako, purring and rubbing herself against her legs. ]
Then I'm sure to learn quickly. Would you like something to drink, while I'm over here?
[ And Minako is sharing as much affection as she can, glad that Koromaru isn't the type to get jealous when he smells another animal on the people he's around. ]
Just water is fine with me, or tea. I'm not picky.
[Now that she thinks about it, she realizes that all the simple things that most couples know about the other haven't even been touched on between them. Too much end of the world business. Normal is what she's been wanting so there's a good start. ]
There isn't a lot I don't like, but I'd say red is my favorite. It's just such a bright and warm color...
[She's glad to see him relax a little and finds herself following suit. ]
Well... it's actually on April 1st. I kinda just recently realized it was coming up when Fuuka mentioned it. She wanted to know what kind of cake to make for me.
Signature foods often have something to them that makes them strangely irresistible. As for seasons... I'm not particularly bothered by the cold, so winter is rather charming. In spring or summer, there's a lot more to do outdoors, and it's certainly easier to get around-- walking loses some of its appeal when you have to account for slush and ice. There's something about summer and autumn festivals that makes you feel connected to tradition... [ yes, he is apparently giving this very serious thought ] Autumn and winter are the best for stargazing, for meteor showers in particular. But it's more refreshing to see plants bloom in spring than hibernate in autumn, isn't it?
So I suppose my answer would be that there's a season for everything.
Well, some people have a season that they prefer for a simple reason, or no reason at all-- perhaps some sort of gut feeling, or happy memories associated with it. But it's not something I had an answer to off the top of my head, so I thought about pros and cons... and seem to have ended up in a stalemate with myself.
[ he chuckles faintly, eyeing her expression ] I suppose you didn't ask for a dissertation, though.

Well, not really. I'd like to, is what I mean to say.

I was hoping that's what you meant, but it's really hard to tell sometimes. You're always so nice.
no subject
I'm sure you wouldn't want me to be meaner, but I suppose I could stand to be clearer. Er, that is, yes, I could stand to be clearer.
no subject
I didn't mean meaner.

You better be careful offering that. I can stomp pretty hard.

She's called Lulu, and tends to completely forget me when someone new comes to visit.

Some cats are just like that.

What's your favorite color?

What about you?

Green. There's no reason, really; it seems to just be one of those things. Somehow your answer makes sense, though.
Your birthday?

Well... it's actually on April 1st. I kinda just recently realized it was coming up when Fuuka mentioned it. She wanted to know what kind of cake to make for me.
When's yours?

What about your favorite food?

Believe it or not, it's the signature ramen bowl from Hagakure back home. Other than that, it's the normal sweets and such, but that ramen is amazing.
[Pursing her lips, she tilts her head as she thinks]
Hmm... favorite season?

So I suppose my answer would be that there's a season for everything.

I didn't mind it. It's interesting to see and hear how other people think.

Only if you want me to chatter on about making Gellert's gingerbread.

[ SWEEPING GESTURE, ARE YOU PREPARED FOR THIS ]
...that it's quite delicious.
